Personally, I love watching Brett Favre play. I have never seen a quarterback or any player at any position in the NFL have some much passion while playing the game of football. Favre is like a little kid out there, loving every minute that he is on the gridiron and you just don’t see that anymore in any professional sport in this country.

So giving that I just love to see Brett Favre play, I really don’t care which team he plays for as long as they have a fighting chance to make the Super Bowl. I loved Favre with the Green Bay Packers and I was a Cheese Head fan, but once he left and the way he left I lost some respect for both sides as it just seemed to an unprofessional ugly breakup which could have been avoided. I mean they were a field goal away from making the Super Bowl when Brett Favre played his last game in green and yellow, but I guess that wasn’t good enough for them to wait for Brett to make up his mind about playing the following season. I would have to agree that Favre is a pain in that ass and hard to deal with because the guy honestly can’t make up his mind and you can’t really believe anything he tells you. Not that Favre is a liar, but it has to be frustrating as a franchise that he says one thing and does another.

Well, now that is all in the past, but some old wounds will start to open up again this season when Favre will be the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers arch rivals in the Minnesota Vikings. These two teams will face off twice this season and there is guaranteed to be some fireworks with emotions off the charts.
